Round-table 20 years later
On January 15 RA Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan will organize a round-table discussion on "Ethnic cleansing in Azerbaijan: Baku 1990".
According to the Ombudsman's release, the aim of the round-table discussion is to remember and raise public awareness about the deportations, massacres and massive assaults against the peaceful Armenia population in Baku and other regions of Azerbaijan in 1988-1990.
Speaking at the event will be RA Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum Hayk Demoyan, NA Deputy Larisa Alaverdyan, Chief of the Migration Agency of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and other field experts.
Other parliamentarians, government officials and diplomatic representatives are also invited to the discussion.
