2313 pedestrians broke the law
In January 2010, police registered 8,900 cases of no use of seat-belts and 2,313 pedestrians received fines, as reported by the press service of the Police.
The police reported that "restrictions" have not been provisional and patrol officers will continue to fine pedestrians who break the law and drivers without seat-belts.
Let us remind that citizens are fined 3,000 drams for crossing the street from wrong spots.
