M. Kirakosyan blackjacked at the editorial office
Manvel Kirakosyan, 42, lodged a complaint with the police about ill-treatment at the editorial office of Hayots Ashkarh daily.
Kirakosyan said he had received a blow in the head.
According to a police release, on March 20, during an argument with Hayots Ashkarh's chief editor Gagik Mkrtchyan, M. Kirakosyan knocked Mkrtchyan to the ground at the entrance of the editorial office.
"Vahan Mkrtchyan, the son of G. Mkrtchyan, witnessed the incident on his way to the working room and blackjacked M. Kirakosyan," reads the release.
M. Kirakosyan and G. Mkrtchyan will undergo a forensic examination.
Investigation is in process.
