Judge to study citizens’ action against gas price hike known
The 7230 complaints of Armenian citizens against the recent gas price hike are likely to be studied by Judge Karine Baghdasaryan.
On April 6, HAK filed an action to the RA Administrative Court with a demand to recognize the decision of the Public Services Regulatory Commission on increasing gas prices as invalid.
The Administrative Court is to inform all the 7230 claimants whether the claim has been noted or not within a week.
Starting April 1, gas prices went up from AMD 96 to 132 per cu m in Armenia. Enterprises consuming over 10 000 cubic meters monthly pay $243.13 per 1000 cu m instead of former $215.
