"Our children are well educated here. I don't understand why they want to separate children," said protester Nelly Vardanyan.

"It affects children's psychology. It is difficult to get adapted to a new classroom. Children consider school their homes. Why do they want to destroy the image?" said another protester.

"I cannot afford extra expenses connected with the transportation of my children. On the other hand, I cannot take him to school every day" said the third.

Talking to A1+, Headmistress Anahit Galstyan said she doesn't take any preventive measures as she is unaware of the school's fate.

"The school has about 1200 pupils. We have all necessary facilities required for 12- year system."
