Flights are not disrupted
"Yerevan-London flights are not disrupted but the flights to Scotland and Northern Ireland have been delayed, Erik Gyulazyan, Head of the International Relations Department of Bmi (British Midland International) Company told A1+.
The UK yesterday cancelled all flights to and from the country because of the plumes of volcanic ash heading towards the UK after the eruption of Icelandic volcano.
Remind that on April 15 the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland and the volcanic ash cloud forced Europe to close airspace for a few days.
Strike will not suspend flights
The recent mass strike in Greece will not result in the disruption of Armenia-Greek flights though it has been joined by airport employees.
Nana Avetisova, Spokeswoman for Armavia national carrier, informed A1+ that the Yerevan-Athens-Yerevan flights follow the schedule and are realized on Mondays and Fridays.
