The first instance court of Kentron and Nork-Marash districts acknowledged "Nor Dzoraberd" restaurant owner's two sons guilty.

Parkev and Gor Grigoryan were charged under Part 1, Article 316 of the RA Penal Code for violence against a state representative. Parkev Grigoryan was also charged under Part 3, Article 258 for hooliganism. By the court's ruling, Parkev was sentenced to 1 year in prison and received a 500,000 dram fine, while Gor Grigoryan was also sentenced to a year in prison, but by the decision of Mnatsakan Martirosyan, the penalty was not applied and as a result, Gor Grigoryan was released from the courtroom.

The trial proceeded through a fast procedure. In his accusatory speech, prosecutor Koryun Piloyan highlighted the more mitigating circumstances and didn't even consider the culprits' drunken state as a critical circumstance. In addition, "they had confessed their guilt. They gave true testimonies to the court and the preliminary investigative body, as well as repented for their crime. They have not been sentenced before and have performed good service for the public."

In their last words, the defendants once again repented their crime. Advocate Seyran Grigoryan was moved by the prosecutor's speech and thanked him for that and said the following in an interview with "A1+".

"Based on concrete circumstances, I find that the punishment could have been further mitigated, despite the fact that the trial was rather objective."
