No international school in Dilijan?
Support A1+!"We regret, but seriously consider the possible termination of the project," announce initiators of "Dilijan" International School of Armenia Veronica Zonabend, Ruben Vardanyan, Tim Flin and Nubar Afeyan who have sent an open letter to the RA Public Council.
"We don't see an opportunity to develop the project in the created situation because in principle it is wrong to create a school in a rejecting environment," say the initiators.
Let us remind that this program gave way to many questions and different commentaries among society amid the changes in the law on "Language".
According to those changes, the law will permit the opening of foreign language schools in Armenia. According to members of the initiative "We are against the reopening of foreign language schools", these changes are only to ensure the opening of "Dilijan" school.
"As the one expressing the people's will, the common opinion of the Public Council will allow us to take a balanced decision on the fate of this program," as stated in the letter by Tim Flin and Nubar Afeyan. Let us remind that Chairman of the RA Public Council Vazgen Manukyan is against this initiative.
