Vanadzor to host painting contest
The Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets has come up with an interesting initiative.
A "Green Bus" loaded with literature and films about ecology and decorated with paintings made by children will be parked in Vanadzor's central square on October 2.
During the summer months, the bus travelled through Armenian marzes "disseminating" ecological knowledge across the country.
On October 2, children are expected to paint on themes "The Zoological Garden I Dream of," "The Nature of My Homeland," "SOS" within the framework of a pan-Armenian painting contest.
On the same day, children of School N 10 will collect plastic bottles and paper items and hand them to the Foundation for further recycling.
