The bronze statue of renowned gymnast and Olympic Champion Albert Azarian, which disappeared from the entrance of Yerevan School of Gymnastics on October 4, has been returned.

"The statue was returned by an employee of a collection point for non-ferrous metals who did not want to introduce himself. Nor did he name the person who had sold the statue. He decided to return the statue as soon as he recognized its owner," Albert Azaryan told A1+.

The statue was washed, polished and put in its former place.

Note that the thief sold the sculpture for AMD 18 000.
