Writer continues hunger strike
Writer, publicist Vahram Tatikyan has been on a hunger strike at Komitas Par for two days now. The strike is against the municipality's decision to build a dolphinarium.
Vahram Tatikyan stressed once again that according to chief architect Tamanyan's plan, Yerevan ended at the park where there used to be a municipal cemetery, but the current authorities are destroying the park and turning into a place for leisure.
The writer says when the authorities appropriate a territory for their own business and completely forget about it later and that is what happened with Komitas Park.
Vahram Tatikyan takes note that many residents and police officers have expressed support and have even left their phone numbers to extend a helping hand in case of need.
Tatikyan announced that he would not end the hunger strike until the construction is not over and the park is not returned to the people.
