Can a dophin tank be built near a cemetery?
Heritage" parliamentary group has asked the Yerevan Municipality for the permission allowing the construction of a dolphin tank in Komitas Park, near the Pantheon. The faction requested the municipality to provide the copies of all documents and permits authorizing the construction of the dolphinarium.
The faction has also asked the Ministries of Environmental Protection and Culture to clarify the position of the Armenian government on the issue.
"Is it permissible to build a dolphin tank near houses and a cemetery, in a park where prominent Armenians are buried?" reads a Party letter.
Under the NA regulations, state agencies and officials must respond to the letter within ten days.
