DigiTec Expo 2010 kicks off in Yerevan
DigiTec Expo 2010, the 6th IT and telecommunications annual exhibit, kicked off in Yerevan on October 29, 2010.
The event has brought together 68 international and local companies.
In his opening remarks, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said the government facilitates development of information technology, which can help improve economic indices.
"We cannot raise the efficiency of the economic system without IT," he said.
According to D-Link CIS Office director Vladimir Liping, Armenian has a great intellectual potential, which is a great privilege for the country.
"IT market will develop significantly in Armenia in the coming years and we are ready to to make investments and accelerate developments of the field," he said.
