No roadmap
Former RA Minister of Internal Affairs Suren Abrahamyan says the people of Karabakh are the ones keeping the NKR regardless of what Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev negotiate during their meetings. According to him, the number one issue for the Armenian side is the return of influential people of Karabakh who found themselves in Armenia after the Artsakh war.
"Rumor has it that Serzh Sargsyan's brother will be the next YSU rector, but he had to be the rector of the university in Shushi. Robert Kocharyan has to apologize to the people and open a "Stefano Ricci" in Stepanakert. All officials, including Arkadi Ghukasyan, Samvel Babayan, "Mika", "Flesh" and "Fresh" must go. The people living there are the ones keeping the land."
Republican Artak Davtyan opposed Abrahamyan and advised him not to make decisions for others. "Living on the land should not only be honorable, but profitable as well."
Abrahamyan reminded him that he was talking about the figures that were obliged to be in the right place.
"Glory and honor to our people, our first commander-in-chief Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Vazgen Sargsyan, then Robert Kocharyan who helped us win the war.
Davtyan opposed and said the number one issue concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is having the NKR participate in the negotiations. "Many people in Armenia don't accept the NKR as a second Armenian state. Many people think the NKR is a part of Armenia." The Republican representative's statement surprised Suren Abrahamyan.
"Where were the others when Robert Kocharyan sat at the table of negotiations as a federal commander? Wasn't there anyone who would say that Karabakh should solve its problem?"
The sides only agreed on one issue, that is, there will be no roadmap presented during the Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting to be held in Astana.
