Passageway in darkness
There has not been any lighting at the passageway located near the statue of Vardan Mamikonyan for the past three days due to broken lamps. Passers-by even avoid walking through the passageway during the day.
"It is so dark that I am afraid to pass by. It's dangerous in the afternoon, not to mention at night. I cross the street, though I am afraid" says Anush Ayvazyan, who lives near the passageway.
"I advise those who love American horror films to pass by there at night," says a young man.
Whereas some risk losing their lives by crossing the street, many parents and grandparents are forced to take their children and grandchildren through the passageway.
"It is so unpleasant to pass through that passageway in that darkness. My child has been walking through that passageway in fear for the past couple of days," said Hermine Matevosyan.
