The "Keghank" (Scab) prize has been set for those involved in distorting literary-cultural values and discrediting cultural figures, announced President of the Writers' Union of Armenia Levon Ananyan. The prizewinners will be given diplomas and the copies of three rubles released in 1937.

"It is much better to sell your body for three rubles near the Circus than sell your conscience," said Levon Ananyan during a press conference.

Ananyan says the press has become irresponsible. "Fortunately, there are not too many copies, while television stations are discreet and don't lose their reputation."
