Microphone turned off during speech
A rally is in progress in Kapan. The organizers have announced once again that this is not a political, but an environmental movement and a struggle against the exploitation of uranium mines.
On behalf of the governor of Syunik province, deputy governor Vache Grigoryan announced that the regional authorities will fight with the people until the end.
Attending the rally are representatives of the municipal authorities, director Tigran Khzmalyan and thousands of citizens.
"Heritage" party member Zaruhi Postanjyan and her team were at the rostrum, but the microphone was turned off when she was about to speak due to power outage.
The microphone was turned back on after demands from the attendees.
