Day of the Apostles
The Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the day of the first Armenian illuminators St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew on December 4.
On this occasion, on December 3, before the evening church service at 17:30, the relics of apostles St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew kept at the Treasury of the Mother See will be solemnly brought to the Mother Temple of St. Etchmiadzin with a blessing by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
On December 4 at 10:30 a.m. a Holy Mass will be served on the occasion of the Day of the Apostles at the Mother Temple of St. Etchmiadzin.
