Reports on conscript’s suicide are false
A conscript has committed suicide in a military unit in the town of Lusakert by throwing himself off the windown, an Armenian newspaper wrote.
Mary Sargsyan, a senior official at PR department of Armenian Defense Ministry's Investigation Branch, denied the information on the alleged suicide.
"Vemir Mkrtchyan, 1989, really fell from the window of the military unit. Fortunately, he survived and was transferred to the MoD Central hospital where he is undergoing treatment," Mary Sargsyan told A1+.
Mkrtchyan told investigators that he incident was accidental.
Vemir Mkrtchyan was drafted this fall.
