All 26 members voted for Abrahamyan
Chairman of the RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan was re-elected Chairperson of the Council of the Armenian State University of Economics. Hovik Abrahamyan was the only candidate.
Today the Council of the Armenian State University of Economics held a session.
Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan Ashotyan, who was also participating in the session, informed that according to RA legislation, the chairperson of the council may be elected through an open and a confidential vote. Based on NA Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan's proposal, the council decided to hold the chairperson's election through a closed, confidential vote and all 26 members of the council voted for Hovik Abrahamyan.
During the session, the council discussed the issues related to the results of education, research, finance and economy in 2010 and the main indicators for the 2011 draft budget, as reported by the Department of Public Relations of the RA National Assembly.
