Protests in front of government
Employees of the payment service staff of the State Service for Social Security, which was liquidated on 1 January 2011, staged another protest in front of the government building today. The protesters were demanding not only new jobs, but their final salaries.
The employees of the liquidated service claimed that they had been promised new jobs before liquidation. "Hay Post" had promised to provide at least 70 out of the 300 people with jobs, but didn't fulfill its promise.
The mothers of soldiers killed in peace in the Armenian army were also staging a protest in front of the government building, saying the culprits remain unpunished.
There was no response from the government.
