Passengers arrive in Yerevan without luggage
The passengers of Istanbul-Yerevan flight (February 20) will receive their bags in 4-5 days.
"Yesterday evening we left "Zvartnots" airport in utter despair. We were told that our luggage had not arrived and we had to wait for a few days," one of the passengers told A1+.
He added that he had important documents and valuable things in his luggage.
"In other countries passengers are usually compensated by carriers. But in Armenia we became the guilty side," he noted.
The flight was operated by 'Bagrat Tour' Company.
"Due to unfavourable weather, the captain of the plane decided to take more fuel. Everything might happen in the air and the plane might land in Georgia. The passengers will get their luggage back in a couple of days," Bagrat Navoyan, director of Bagrat Tour Company, told A1+.
