Selection of Emmy’s song postponed
The day for selecting Armenia's song to be represented at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, which was scheduled for February 26, has been postponed for an uncertain period, as head of the Armenian delegation to Eurovision 2011 Gohar Gasparyan told "A1+".
Yesterday morning, Armenia's representative to Eurovision 2011, singer Emmy's father, sculptor David Bejanyan died from a heart problem.
The song selection was supposed to be broadcast live on Public Television on February 26 at 21:30.
The songs to be presented were composed by Vahram Petrosyan (Armenia), Martin Kesitsi (Germany), Apricota (Armenia) and Der Hova (Armenia) and the song with the most votes would get to be presented at Eurovision 2011.
Eurovision 2011 will be held on May 10-14 in Dusseldorf, Germany.
