Fire at atomic station put out
Another explosion took place at the Japanese "Fukusima 1" atomic station this morning.
This time the explosion was registered at the second energy block. This comes after explosions at the first and second energy blocks. In addition, a fire broke out at the fourth energy block, which is the atomic wastes reserve and it has already been put out.
The level of radiation has sharply increased near the atomic station and is 400 times higher than the norm.
Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan has advised citizens living near the atomic station to not open their doors and windows.
According to meteorologists, the direction of the wind may steer toward Tokyo in the next couple of days and may cause health problems for citizens.
Tokyo is located at a 240 km distance from the "Fukusima 1" atomic station.
Rescuers are still working at the energy blocks and according to presses the situation at the second block is still extremely dangerous.
