While the NA standing committee on territorial administration and local self-government issues is holding parliamentary hearings on "Street trade in municipal communities", those concerned with this issue are gathered near the entrance to the National Assembly.

Some of them were given the chance to participate in the hearings, but the former street traders were at the National Assembly with the hope of receiving a final response.

"I have three children and I don't know what to do to keep food on the table," says Karine.

"We can't live like this. I used to sell herbs, but they deprived me of that. What am I going to do for a living?" asks Kima.

The action participants say they will continue to protest as long as it takes the government to take a concrete decision.
