Lower gas price for 60,000 families
The Armenian government has taken a decision on measures for extenuating the gas price for socially disadvantaged families.
The government has proposed to ArmRusGazard to charge socially disadvantaged families 100 drams (VAT included) for 1,000 cubic meters in the case of consumption of up to 10,000 cubic meters a month at the reduced price confirmed by the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission for 300 cubic meters of gas from 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012.
According to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the decision will be in favor of nearly 60,000 socially disadvantaged families.
