Ecumenical liturgy in memory of Genocide victims
An ecumenical liturgy dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide will be held at the Frantishkan Church in central Bratislava.
The liturgy will be served under the direction of spiritual pastor of the Armenian Apostolic Church's Austrian Diocese, as well as Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary, Archimandrite, Father Barsegh Pilavchyan and with the participation of Slovakia's Catholic-Frantishkan, Evangelical, Greco-Catholic Churches.
After the liturgy, a wreath will be laid at the khachkar (cross-stone) placed in central Bratislava and dedicated to the adoption of the Armenian Genocide Resolution by the National Council of Slovakia in 2004.
The liturgy was organized by President of the Armenian Community of Slovakia Ashot Grigoryan.
