100.3 percent recruitment
The Yerevan city military recruitment committee held its first session for organizing and holding the 2011 spring recruitment at the municipality.
The session was headed by chairman of the committee, Mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan.
Among participants were members of Yerevan city military recruitment committee, including first deputy head of the main headquarters of the RA Armed Forces, territorial military commissars, the head of Yerevan Police department, the heads of corresponding structural subdivisions of the Municipality of Yerevan and the heads of districts.
The territorial military commissars delivered reports on the 2010 fall recruitment and preparations for the 2011 spring recruitment.
According to the reports, the assignments for fall recruitment were completed 100.3 percent and criminal cases were brought up against recruits who evaded recruitment.
As far as preparations for the 2011 spring recruitment are concerned, it was reported that everything is on the right track and the territorial military commissars are actively working with local self-government and law-enforcement bodies to properly solve the issues, reported the information and public relations department of the Municipality of Yerevan.
