Museums will be open all night

Free entrance to Armenian museums is announced on the night of May 14, the International Museum Day. On that day, Armenia will join for the seventh time the Museum Night action which is observed in 40 countries of the world.

Armenian museums joining the action will be open all night long, offering various cultural events, national traditional ritual performances, concerts and film showings. The events are organized by the National Gallery of Armenia in collaboration with cultural organizations.

Yerevan State Pantomime Theatre will present the premiere performance of the English alphabet and the cartoons of Ruben Saakyants Production.

In addition to permanent exhibitions, visitors can view the works of American-Armenian sculptor Khoren Ter-Harootian. The NGA will also host the monologues of Ara Geghetsik and Shamiram, and Salome.

Little visitors will make cranes from origami paper which will be later sent to Japanese children.
