PM frustrated
The Control Chamber presented the results of its ensuing inspections.
The government looked at the documents and the Prime Minister gave several assignments. The first, major objective of the Control Chamber refers to the management of credit programs, particularly the loans from theWorld Bank, as well as the equipment and services obtained through those loans.
"Studies show that our committees are very formal and don't take any responsibility for content. Formally, all procedures are maintained when the contest is declared, but in the end we obtain equipment and services at very high and unacceptable prices," said RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in the beginning of the government session.
The Control Chamber has found that the equipment can be obtained 2 times cheaper online.
"If our committee chairmen are experts, they don't have the right to sell us a given product or service at a high price, especially since we obtain them through credit," the Prime Minister underlined.
That is the reason why the Prime Minister has come to the conclusion that the committees must take responsibility for the contest's content as well.
