NAS: "To be punished"
On May 22, an anonymous person called the information service of "Zvartnots" airport and sounded the alarm of a bomb placed in the plane flying from Yerevan to Amsterdam.
The joint inspection of the services found that the alarm was false.
As a result of operative-investigative measures taken by the RA National Security Service agencies, on May 23 the person who sounded the false alarm was found and arrested. The person was citizen of Yerevan Hayk Vardanyan (born in 1968), reported the RA NAS Press Center.
Preliminary investigation is underway at the RA NAS Investigative Department.
"The RA NAS warns once again that the authors of such acts will be revealed and will be punished," as stated in the message.
Presses released an article that on the morning of that day, NAS Head Gorik Hakobyan was supposed to fly to Moscow.
