Seven-year-old injured passenger undergoes another operation
Seven-year-old Gor Hayrapetyan, one of the passengers injured in a major road accident in Yerevan's Artsakh Street, underwent another surgery last week.
The accident occurred in the evening of May 17 as a Mercedes ran into a GAZelle minibus causing an unexpected explosion. Drivers of both vehicles and passengers sitting near the driver of the mini-bus died on the spot. Another nine passengers were taken to Erbuni Medical Center with different injuries.
During the accident Gor Hayrapetyan broke his jaw and received 3rd and 4th degree burns.
The operation lasted 2.5 hours, according to the Ministry of Health.
Gor's condition is said to be grave though stable. His life is not periled.
