German company interested in Nairit
Germany-based company C.A.C. has shown interest in Yerevan's Nairit Chemical Plant. C.A.C. was the only company to participate in the tender for the plant's managing operator.
The RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources will soon host a meeting with the company's representatives to discuss the capacities of the plant, a Ministry spokesperson told A1+.
The tender for the new operator was announced on August 15, with the deadline being prolonged to June 30 due to the lack of participants.
Remind that Nairit's first deputy CEO, chief engineer Hovik Akhinyan was appointed acting CEO of the plant after the resignation of the Company CEO Vahan Melkonyan
The plant's debt totals $120-130 million, according to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources
