Facebook group demands public transport timetables
Those concerned over the situation in the Armenian transport sector have joined a Facebook group called Dignified Transport. The civil initiative today grouped its supporters near "Yeritasardakan" Metro Station where their launched a collection of signatures. Later the group sent a query with the collected signatures to the director of Hayavtokayan (Armenian Bus Terminal) CJSC with a request to provide them the schedule of vehicles.
The group will begin to monitor the work of public transportation after receiving the timetables.
"We shall sit at stations and see whether minibuses follow the schedule or not," said Nare Sahakyan.
"We call on our officials to find a solution to the problem as we do not want our future generation to stoop in public transport," said Arman Gharibyan.
