Discussion with U.S. Charge d’Affaire
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today received U.S. Temporary Charge d'Affaire in the Republic of Armenia Bruce Donahu.
Greeting the guests, the prime minister mentioned that he highly appreciated the achievements in the bilateral relations.
The interlocutors touched upon the United States' technical assistance in the upcoming census in Armenia, the memorandum on energetic studies, the programs being implemented by the Millennium Challenges Corporation, reforms taking place in a number of spheres in Armenia, including the measures for the fight against corruption and the results.
The sides also spoke of the first session of the Armenian-American inter-governmental economic commission to be held in mid-September during which issues related to the development and reinforcement of bilateral economic ties will be discussed.
