Proceedings against 16 businesses
In relation to violations of the RA law "On Protection of Economic Competition", the RA State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition has instigated cases against 16 companies.
On July 26 and 27, the commission revealed dozens of violations of the law at local trade spots during visits to the provinces.
According to the commission's press service, violations were revealed after observations at stores in Kotayk and Armavir provinces.
Frozen chicken, chicken meat, pastry, honey, dairy products and several other products were on sale without any production dates, expiration dates, lack of trademarks in Armenian and information about the producer.
According to the law, a company's line of conduct that can confuse the society is considered an act of carelessness.
The State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition has transmitted all information about violations to the State Food Safety Service of the RA Ministry of Agriculture.
