Yerevan gets new lighting by Armenian specialists
To mark the 20th anniversary of Armenian independence Yerevan Municipality has installed modern lighting at a number of statues and buildings in the capital.
By a decision of the municipality, all sites of cultural, historic and architectural interest, as well as 34 statues will be lit up.
20 high-powered LED lights have been installed on the city's TV broadcast tower. The new lighting has the capacity of displaying some 16 million different color variations.
Lighting at Republic Square has also been doubled with the installation of 40 new lampposts.
The work has been carried out by Armenian specialists.
