Landslide continues
The search and rescue continues in the landslide zone as we speak. Head of the news department of the Rescue Service at the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations Nikolay Grigoryan told "A1+" that the rescuers are mainly located at the sector of the landslide "where it is said that the lost may be."
Nikolay Grigoryan also informed that the helicopter of the Ministry of Defense had already removed six cars, but the trucks are only being studied.
"The landslide continues and it is becoming very dangerous. We don't have heavy helicopters to be able to lift trucks. We have to estimate how dangerous the land falling from above is and only after that can we start working," Nikolay Grigoryan said.
The search and rescue is being implemented by the services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Yerevan, Gegharkunik, Tavush and Lori.
