Apple founder passes away
Founder and former director of Apple Steve Jobs passed away on October 5. He was 57 years old.
Jobs's partner and friend, founder of Microsoft Bill Gates has expressed his condolences to Jobs's family and friends.
"I met Steve nearly 30 years ago. We became friends, partners and competitors," Gates wrote on his website.
He expressed regret that there are rarely people like Jobs who are born with an important mission and pass away early, leaving a significant trace in the history of mankind.
"Steve Jobs was one of the brilliant individuals that was able to have an incredible impact on the coming generations. It has been a pleasure for me and everyone to work with him. I will miss Steve," Gates wrote.
