ENA against SRC
The State Revenue Committee under the RA Government has brought up a case against the Electric Networks of Armenia, representatives of the department of information and public relations of the State Revenue Committee told "A1+".
"A1+" asked why the SRC decided to raise concerns about the ENA's misuse and whether there had been misuse during the current or previous administration.
The State Revenue Committee demanded that "A1+" give questions in written form and promised to respond in written form as well. In the SRC's written response, it was stated that "we refrain from releasing details with the consideration of ensuring the objectivity of the investigation".
We remind that the press department of Electronic Networks of Armenia had issued a statement according to which employees of the SRC investigative department had started searching all branches of the ENA and had confiscated important documents.
In the message it was stated that the search had begun as part of the case brought up after a tax check, and the SRC is certain that the ENA has not paid any income tax, value added tax and a part of the mandatory social service fees. The total amount makes up nearly 1.9 billion drams.
The ENA has filed an appeal to the SRC appeals committee. "A1+" wasn't able to find out any information from the ENA.
