Statement of the RA Police
With the purpose of ensuring the government's regular activities, as well as preventing violations of the law and ruling out the application of force against the illegitimate participants of the rally, guided by Point 4, Part 1, Article 32 of the RA law "On Freedom of Rallies" and Points 2, Article 2 of the RA law "On Police" and Article 12, on 27 October 2011 the RA Police suggested that the participants of the rally organized in front of the government building move to the area near the government building.
The RA Police took into account the fact that the participants of the rally organized in front of the government building during the previous sessions of the RA Government, which used to gather at the site, have closed the free entrance to and exit out of Government Building 1 frequently and for a long period and have insulted and provoked clashes between participants and police officers.
