At midday, members of the Republican Party visited Yerablur Pantheon and laid flowers at the tomb of Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan, who fell victim to a terrorist act at the National Assembly 12 years ago this day.

The Republican MPs hadn't come to Yerablur Pantheon since they were participating in a parliamentary session.

Citizens were also visiting Vazgen Sargsyan's tomb today, but most of them left due to rainfall.

Only Mrs. Elmira, who had worked with the Commander-in-Chief at the school named after him stayed at the tomb for along time.

"He was a wonderful person. He was energetic, diligent and a humanist. Everyone loved him," Elmira Galstyan said. She says she visits Yerablur Pantheon every year this day.

There were wreaths from Chairman of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan and President of the Union of Volunteer Land Defenders, General Manvel Grigoryan at the tomb of the Commander-in-Chief.
