Bangkok going underwater
The flood that started in Thailand on October 12 has already taken the lives of 360 people and has led to the evacuation of 100,000 people.
The artificial dams in Bangkok can no longer resist the pressure of the water. Airports have closed down, and large groups of people are at the bus and railway stations.
Thailand authorities have declared 5 non-working days to move the people living in more dangerous zones to safe places.
Those living in northern Thailand have been told to leave since 90% of that area is underwater. BBC reports that the level of water will reach a meter in Bangkok in the next couple of days.
