3,115 residents of Aragatsotn province have received ophthalmological assistance at no cost.

The joint program of Orange Foundation and the Armenian Ophthalmological Project is drawing to an end. The goal of the project is to check the residents' eyesight and provide treatment for socially disadvantaged people in the province.

Within the framework of the project, more than 1,800 adults and nearly 1,300 children have had their eyes checked, nearly 600 adults have taken an in-depth test at the Mobile Eye Hospital and residents have been provided with nearly 600 glasses. There have been nearly 200 operations and laser treatment. In addition to eye check-ups, nearly 500 children of the province's nine schools have taken special eye-care courses.
