Post office head squandered huge sum of money
The Prosecutor's Office of Lori region launched a criminal case against the head of the local post office on charges of squandering pensions and benefits.
During the preparation of the materials, it was revealed that the head of one of the post offices of Vanadzor-based branch of "HayPost" CJSC abused his official authority and squandered money in the amount of 6 420 000 drams. He appropriated the pensions and benefits as well as the payments made by the citizens for November 2011.
A criminal case was initiated in the Prosecutor's Office of Lori region according to Article 179 (part 3, point 1) of the Armenian Criminal Code. The criminal case was sent to the Investigation Division of Lori Police, reports the Office of RA Prosecutor General.
