The RA Ombudsman's Office today refused to comment on the suicide attempt of an elderly woman who had visited the office. The Office also refused to release her name.

A short while ago, the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ombudsman's Office disseminated information, which is simply a protocol of the fact without any commentaries.

"Today, a woman visited the Ombudsman's Office. She was visiting for the first time. She presented a written appeal, after which she drank a pereoxide liquid and lost consciousness. The office employees immediately called an ambulance, showed medical aid and transferred the woman to a hospital," as stated in the press release. The Department of Information and Public Relations of the Office of the RA Ombudsman also reports that the appeal presented by the elderly woman was related to the termination of her benefits by the social service, as well as the theft in her home and the examination in relation to that."

"The Ombudsman's Office will continue to examine the appeal and will be consistent in the procedure," the employees of the Department of Information of the Ombudsman's Office said in closing.
