Armenian cinema workers meet in Los Angeles
The Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles organized a meeting of Armenian cinema workers of Hollywood. The event was attended by famous actors Marco Khan, Ken Davidian, producers Carla Garabedian and Valerie McCaffrey, director and scriptwriter Erik Nazarian, founder of the Arpa international film festival Silva Minasyan and others.
The meeting aimed to present the works of movie-makers of Armenian descent, including the released films, the participation of Armenian actors in American projects and their achievements at international film festivals.
Armenia's Consul General to Los Angeles Grigor Hovhannisian awarded Silvia Minasyan with a medal of the Armenian Ministry of Culture for founding a film festival corresponding to Hollywood standards and paving the way for young Armenian cinema workers.
