Rally to be held today
The Russian oppositionist "Yabloko" Party today will hold a rally with the slogan "For Fair Elections" at Bolotni Square in central Moscow.
During the rally, the participants will discuss future actions.
The opposition mainly demands the declaration of the results of the December 4 Russian State Duma elections as invalid, new elections, the resignation of President of the Central Electoral Commission Vladimir Churov and that the falsifiers be brought to justice.
The rally has been permitted.
