Inmates continue hunger strike
The condition of the two life-termers, who started hunger strike in Nubarashen penitentiary, is satisfactory. The strikers are under medical supervision, Gor Ghlechyan, spokesperson for the Penitentiary Department at the Ministry of Justice, told A1+.
Life-termers Artur Mkrtchyan and Emil verdyan started open-ended hunger strike correspondingly on December 7 and 19 in an attempt to call public attention to their demands. In particular, they demand that the term of their imprisonment be reconsidered.
