Big terrorist act, victims
Several explosions took place in Baghdad this morning, leaving 57 dead and 176 with injuries of varying degrees. Iraqi Special Services report that there were at least 12 explosive devices and that most of them exploded in the shiites' district of the city.
Police assume that the explosions were an act organized by ultranationalists.
Euronews reports that the terrorist act took place amid the tense political state in Iraq after the dislocation of U.S. forces. The last column of forces left Iraq on December 18.
